What is Sylingo?

Sylingo helps you create your own library of the words you want to learn, where you can write an unlimited number of words and memorize them in an orderly method, and you will be able to study words at any time using quizzes.

What languages are supported in Sylingo?

You can use Sylingo in your language you want but for word pronunciation, Sylingo supports the following languages:

How can I create a free account in Sylingo?

You can create a free account using your email address, Google account, or Facebook account.


To sign up with email


  1. Go to the Sign up page.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Enter a secure password.
  4. Agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy policy.
  5. Select Create a new account.
  6. Check your email and confirm your account.


To sign up with Google

If you have a Google account, you can quickly sign up using that account.


  1. Go to the Sign up page.
  2. Select Google.
  3. If you aren't already logged in to Google, enter your Google username and password.
  4. Sylingo will automatically create a new account for you.
  5. Check your email and confirm your account.


To sign up with Facebook

If you have a Facebook account, you can quickly sign up using that account.


  1. Go to the Sign up page.
  2. Select Facebook.
  3. If you aren't already logged in to Facebook, enter your Facebook username and password.
  4. Sylingo will automatically create a new account for you.
  5. Check your email and confirm your account.


How can I confirm my email address?

Some features require confirmation of the email address linked to your account. Please note that it can take up to 24 hours for your confirmation message to arrive.

If you haven't received it, check your spam folder and ensure that emails from support@sylingo.com aren't blocked by any spam filters.


  1. To resend a confirmation email:
  2. Log in to your account.
  3. Go to settings.
  4. Go to the email field and click on Verify now.
  5. You will receive an email containing a link to verify your account.


If you do not receive the confirmation message yet, log into your account, go to settings and fix or change your email address.

How can I change my personal information for my account?

To change your personal information


  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Scroll to First name and Last name.
  4. Enter your name.
  5. Click save.

How can I change the username?

To change your username

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Enter your Usernam*.
  4. Click on Save.


How can I change the language I want to learn?

You can change the language you want to learn by going to the Settings and then changing it in the option "What language do you want to learn?"

How could I delete my account?

If you want to delete your account and personal information do these steps:

  1. Log in to your account on the Sylingo website.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Select Delete Account at the bottom of the page.

Once you delete your account, this action cannot be undone

How do I change the site language?

To change the site language:


  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Click on your account name.
  3. Click on Change language.
  4. Select your preferred language.
  5. Click on Save.


How can I regain access to my account after losing access to my email?

If you can't access the email address you signed up with, you may still be able to get back into your Sylingo account. 

Try these steps to regain access to your account.


If you can still log in:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Scroll to Email address field.
  3. Enter the new email you want to associate with your account.
  4. Click Save.

A confirmation message will be sent to your new email address shortly. Your email address will be updated once you select Confirm your email in that message.


If you can't log in, please contact us with the following:

  1. Your full name.
  2. Your previous email address.
  3. Your new email address.

Once we get that information, we can update your email address and help you regain access to your account.

I forgot my password, how do I reset it?


Go to the Forgot password page.

  1. Enter your email address.
  2. Select Reset password.

You'll get a password reset message at the email associated with your Sylingo account which will enable you to create a new password for your account.


In case you did not receive the email we sent you, check your spam folder since the message could have been filtered there. If that is happening, try adding support@sylingo.com as a trusted contact, and mark the message as "this is not spam" if your email provider offers that option.



How can I create a table?

Creating your own table lets you focus on exactly what you want to learn.

To create a table:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Select File > New > Table.
  3. Enter a title for your table and click on Save.

How can I add new words?

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Go to the table.
  3. Add a term in the first column.
  4. Add a definition in the second column.
  5. Click on "+" or click on Enter key.

How can I rename table?

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Go to the table.
  3. Click File > Rename.
  4. Enter the new name for the table.
  5. Click Save.


How can I delete a table?

To delete a table:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Go to the table.
  3. Click File > Delete.
  4. Select Delete.

Once you delete a table, it can't be recovered.


How can I move a table to another folder?

To move a table to another folder:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Click > File > Move to.
  3. Choose the folder you want to move the table to.
  4. Click on Move.


How can I create a folder?

To create a folder

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Click > File > New > Folder.
  3. Enter a title.
  4. Click Save.


How can I rename folder?

To rename a folder

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Click File > Folders > Rename folder.
  3. Enter the new title.
  4. Click Save.


How can I delete a folder?

To delete a folder

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Click File > Folders > Delete folder.
  3. Click Delete.


How can I download my tables in Sylingo and save them to my computer or mobile?

After clicking on "File," click on "Download as" and choose the format you want, either "CVS" or "XLSX." Download the table and save it to your computer or mobile device.

How can I import a table from my computer or mobile to Sylingo?

After clicking on "File," click on "Import File .." then choose the file you would like to import and click on "Upload File." The file will be imported and saved in your Sylingo account.

How can I add ready tables to my account?

Click on the "Library" button and choose the language you want. You can view all the tables and then copy the table you want to add to your tables by clicking "Copy to my tables." After adding it, you can edit it and add new words or delete the words you do not want and do quizzes with it.

Does modifying the table which is copied from the library either by adding new words or deleting existing ones affect the original table in the library?

After you copy the table to your tables, a copy of your table will be created, so you can edit it by adding new words or deleting existing ones without affecting the original table.

How can share my tables with my friends and other students?

Once you've created a table, you can share it with your friends or students.

To share a table:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Click File > Share.
  3. Set "Who can see your table?" to "Everyone".
  4. Copy the sharing link and send it to your friends.


What is the writing quiz?

The writing quiz helps you to strengthen your writing skills by memorizing the meanings of words and training how to write and spell words correctly and quickly.



What is the Listening quiz?

The listening quiz helps you to strengthen your listening skills by listening to the words and writing them and knowing how to spell them correctly when you hear them.



What is Multiple Choices quiz?

The Multiple Choice quiz is based on choosing the correct answer from four choices. If you choose the right answer, you can move onto another word, and your score will rise.

What is the Hearing translation quiz?

The hearing translation quiz helps you to strengthen your ability in the hearing translation by training to know the meaning of the word directly when you hear it.


What is a Quizzes history?

The Quizzes history contains all the information about the quizzes you have made, such as:

  • The names of the tables that you made a test with their words.
  • َQuiz date.
  • Type of quiz
  • How long it took to finish the quiz.
  • The number of words you have tested.
  • The number of times you have re-examined the words that you previously took a test with.
  • The final result of the quiz.

Through this information, you will be able to assess your level and progress in learning the language.

How can I restudy the words that I have studied previously?

To restudy the words you have studied previously, go to the "Quizzes history" and select the table you want to re-restudy, then click "Start test" and you will be able to restudy the words that you have studied previously.

How can I create a document?

After logging in to Sylingo, click on "File" and then "New document," and your document will be ready to start writing your text.

How can I rename a document?

Click on "File", then click on "Rename" and type the name you want then click on "Save".

How can I delete a document?

Click on "File," click on "Delete" and the document will be deleted.

How can I move a document to another folder?

Click on "File", then click on "Move to ..". Then a popup window will appear to show you all your folders, choose the folder you want to move the document to and click "Move".

Can I download the documents in my account to my computer or mobile phone?

Yes, you can do that by clicking on "File" and then clicking on "Download as" and choose the format you want to save the document in.

How can I insert an image into my document?

Click on "Tools" and then click on "Insert image" then choose the image you want to added to your document. You can also add an image by clicking on the image icon in the toolbar.

How do I format the document?

You can format the document by using the tools in the toolbar at the top of the document, such as font size, font type, font color, text alignment, and many other tools.

How can I share my tables with my friends and other students?

Once you've created a document, you can share it with your friends or students.

To share a table:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Click File > Share.
  3. Set "Who can see your document?" to "Everyone".
  4. Copy the sharing link and send it to your friends.


How can I upgrade my account?

Go to Subscription and choose the plan that convince you then click on "Subscribe".

Does the Free Plan ever expire?

No you may use the Free Plan for a lifetime.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and PayPal.

Can I have my money back after subscription?

Generally, all Sylingo purchases and subscriptions are non-refundable but in a specific case it is possible, you can send an email to support@sylingo.com and explain your request.

What happens to my content if my paid subscription ends?

If your paid subscription is ends, your account will revert to the free version when your upgrade expires and you'll no longer have access to any upgraded features.

All your tables, documents and folders, will stay in your account.


To check your account status, go to Settings. Scroll to Subscription to see an expiration date.
