What is the difference between Quick and Fast?

Quick: Things that happen in a short time or shorter than expected. We use it when talking about how long it takes a person to respond to something.

Example:

He gave a quick answer.

Fast: Things that happen at high speed. We use it when talking about the time it takes a person or something to move a distance.

Example:

I can run fast.
